The Shadow and Fury trailer for World of Warcraft: The War Within is my first collaboration with Blizzard Entertainment, and the first trailer we made at NICE! for the current retail version of WoW. It was a fascinating look behind the scenes of a legendary game studio, and an experiment in a completely new style of storytelling.
Together with our team, we had to precisely match the strictly defined in-game visual style of WoW. A big part of that success is thanks to Blizzard legend Chris Metzen, Creative Director and the spiritual father of WoW, who wrote the script.
